Head of Early Childhood
Hello, my name is Rachael and I am from England. I am excited and inspired to be working in this wonderful role as Head of Early Childhood at The Children's Garden, Jumeira. My academic background includes 7 years in Scientific research and 7 years in Education. I am a qualified teacher from England with a PGCE and Masters in Education from the University of Sunderland. My passion is Early Years where my career started and my strengths include outstanding teaching and learning, leading and reflective practices. I have taught in the British system for National curriculum of England but also adopted practice from Montessori, IB, and PYP. I have a wide background in School development particularly for Assessment, interventions, special need’s and creative learning environments.
In my new role at TCG I want to inspire and motivate all staff to continue the excellent and positive learning environment TCG has built over the years. My main focus at all times is the happiness and learning of each and every student, I am a strong believer in personalised learning and every child matters as after all the start of a child's education has a profound effect on their future motivation for education. I am a hard working individual who is always striving to raise standards and looking forward to a fantastic year ahead with the staff, students and parents at TCGJ.
