Thursday 25 March will be quite a day for us at TCG Jumeira! 

Another topic will draw to a close and we've planned a wonderful surprise for all families to enjoy on the last day before Spring Break.  In fact, we're running two events on that day!

One is our first Market Day at TCG Jumeira.  Market Day is a fabulous event, set up by Miss Nuket, the Maths Co-ordinator for both TCGs.  It's a time when children sell you some of the wonderful things they've created (and you need real money for this!).  They learn about the concept of buying and selling, using real coins and they have such fun in the process, taking real pride in their creations and of course they love the money exchanges!

Our second event on the same day (which will work alongside the Market Day) involves a small petting farm!  Posh Paws Kennels and Cattery will bring some of their smaller animals to TCGJ.  They'll set themselves up in one of our empty Pre-nursery classes and you will have the opportunity to handle the animals and learn all about them.  You are most welcome to bring fruit and vegetables to feed the animals.  We'll be playing host to animals such as rabbits, ducklings, a ferret and a guinea pig, so please be aware of this in case of any pet allergies.

In order for all age groups to participate effectively, and not to overwhelm the animals, we are requesting the following pick up times:

Pre-nursery:    12 noon
Nursery:         12.30 pm
PS1 & 2:         1.00 pm

This will give each age group half an hour to spend time with the animals and also to enjoy buying goods from the Market Day celebrations. The more money you bring, the more you can spend!!

This is a special and exciting time for us and we are looking forward to seeing all of you on Thursday 25th March!
