The Children's Garden has aligned all Admission and Re-registration Policies with other Taaleem schools as follows:

The cut off date for admission to any grade level is 31st December, e.g. children entering Nursery must be three years of age by 31st December.  They must also be potty trained.  In addition, Pre-Nursery children must have started the potty training process with the aim of being fully trained by the end of the year.

 
All Pre-Nursery children will be taught in English, whereas the languages of instruction for Nursery and Pre-School 1 & 2 children are English and French, with Arabic as a second language or English and Arabic, with equal emphasis given to both languages of instruction.

Pre-Nursery: English only
Two year-olds may enroll on a full-time (8.30am – 2pm) or part-time basis (8.30am – 12pm) for three or five days per week.

Nursery: English and French, with Arabic as a second language or English and Arabic*
Three year-olds must enroll for five days with the option of half or full days (8.30am – 12pm or 8.30am – 2pm).

Pre-School 1 & 2: English and French, with Arabic as a second language or English and Arabic*
Four and Five year-olds must enroll on a full-time basis (8.30am – 2pm).

*English and Arabic
Our request to join these classes: One parent has to be mother tongue Arabic and Arabic has to be spoken at home.

* PLEASE NOTE: A school bus is NOT provided.

Children completing Pre-School 2 at TCG Jumeira are given preference for a place in Grade 1 at JBS

    -  application form is submitted until the 28th of February at JBS

    -  the child's educational needs can be met by the receiving school

Admissions Priority - Who gets in first?

The following admissions policy applies for new admissions and waiting lists

Priority is given to

1. Returning students
2. Siblings of students
3. Others

Within these groups:

• First-come-first-serve-basis (on completed application form and fee)

Enrollments - Policy

Children joining TCG Jumeira for the first time for Pre-School 1 and Pre-School 2 (at the beginning or during the school year) are required to take part in an assessment test with the Head of School and a trial day in class for an observation.  Pre-Nursery and Nursery children are required to take part in a trial day only.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD

To register, please complete the Application Form (downloadable below) and submit it with all relevant documents (see below) to Yvonne Treis, ytreis@tcgjumeira.ae, at Front Desk.

Please submit the following:

• 6 recent passport sized photos of applicant
• 2 copies of applicant's birth certificate
• 2 copies of applicant's passport and residence visa
• 2 copies of each parent/guardian's passport and residence visa
• Copy of updated Vaccination Card

 
Enrollment Fees

1. A non-refundable Application Fee of AED 500 is required for new admissions and to put your child on our waiting list.

2. The Registration Fee of AED 2,000 is payable when you have been notified of your child's placement availability. It is non-refundable and only credited towards the fees for Term 2.

3. In order to re-register your child in the new academic year, you are required to pay a Re-Registration Fee of AED 2,000.

4. For Late Joiners in the academic year the registration fee is carried over to the next academic year and not credited with Term 2.

5. Tuition Fees have to be paid in full before term start date for a guaranteed place, according to TCG policy.

Cancellations by parents will only be considered when received in writing. For refunds TCG policies apply.

We are admitting children with special support requirements if we can serve them well.  Due to the nature of our program we will consider each child on individual basis.
