The academic year runs from September to June and is divided into two terms.  The school week runs from Sunday to Thursday with classes starting at 8.30am, finishing either at 2pm, with half days til 12pm available as an option for Pre-nursery.  An optional Play Group session will be available depending on parental demand. Drop off is available from 7.45am and parents are required to organize their children’s lunch and snack.  All Pre-nursery children will be taught in English, whereas the languages of instruction for Nursery and Pre-school 1 & 2 children are English and French, with equal emphasis given to both, and Arabic will also be delivered as a second language.

 

Pre-nursery: English only
Two year-olds may enroll on a full-time (8.30am – 2pm) or part-time basis (8.30am – 12pm) for three or five days per week.

Nursery: English and French, with Arabic as a second language
Three year-olds must enroll for five days with the option of half or full days (8.30am – 12pm or 8.30am – 2pm).

Pre-school 1: English and French, with Arabic as a second language
Four year-olds must enroll on a full-time basis (8.30am – 2pm).

 

Extended Day Programme
The Children's Garden offers parents an optional play group session from 2.15pm - 5pm in the Stars Classroom. We are pleased to inform that the Extended Day Programme will start on Sunday 27th September 2009. All children from Pre Nursery level onwards are eligible for the program.

Extended Day is intended to be a service for those parents who need after school supervision for their children, but it is also a good opportunity for children to improve their English skills. If you wish to apply for the Extended Day Programme, please sign up at the Front Desk.

 

Admissions Please either download our application form, or drop in and see us to collect/submit one.  An application fee of AED 500 is required.

The cut off date for admission to any grade level is 31st December, e.g. children entering Nursery must be three years of age before 31st December 2009.  They must also be potty trained.  In addition, Pre-nursery children must have started the potty training process with the aim of being fully trained by the end of the year.

School Fees 

1. The non refundable Application Fee of AED 500 is required to process your child's application.
2. The refundable Registration Fee of AED 2,000 is payable once you have been notified of your child's placement.
3. In order to register your child in the new academic year, you are required to pay the balance of the Term One Fee and the refundable Registration Fee of AED 2,000, according to TCG policy.
