Miss Zarni and Miss Hanna
Hi! My name is Zarni Buenaflor, hailing from the beautiful country of the Philippines. I am the teacher of TCGJ's Diamonds Pre-Nursery Class. After completing my Bachelor Degree in Humanities and Masters Degree in Education at the University of Asia and the Pacific, I went straight to the classroom and the theater. I performed (pun intended!) as a preschool teacher, an assistant headmistress, a theater actress, a singer, children's amusement center supervisor and even as an events coordinator. All of this helps my class and me to have loads of fun in school! My various travels to the US, Canada, Australia and various parts of Asia exposed me to the beauty of the world and left me thirsting to learn more about our amazing planet. I love everything about children, art, life, and am passionate about the pursuit of creativity and happy thoughts. In time, I hope to insipre my little "diamonds" to have the same zeal and love for learning as I do. Besides teaching and theater arts, I love to travel.
Hi! My name is Hanna Reiman. I'm from Finland and speak English as well as Finnish. This is my second year at TCGJ and I am the teacher assistant in the Diamonds Pre-Nursery Class, which I'm very excited about. I have been living in Dubai for two years, working as an au pair for an English family and honing my English skills before coming to TCG for its launch last year. I've learned a lot from all my work as an au pair and at TCG, and I've enjoyed both experiences enormously. Previously I was in Norway where I also acted as a contemporary dance instructor for primary school children. Dancing is my dearest hobby, an important way of self-expression.

Miss Chrissie and Miss Leila
Hello everyone, I'm Chrissie and I hail from the UK. My family and I moved to Dubai in January 2010 and our son Freddie was TCG Jumeira's first graduate this June. I am the teacher in the Pre-nursery Stars Class and am very excited to be working with such a great team. I come from a Chemistry background, originally working on military Aviation and Dieso fuels for the UK's Ministry of Defence. Later, I became a science technician in a secondary school and taught Chemistry and Maths. Many years later and following the birth of our son, I left the "adult" working world and devoted my life to looking after him and other people's children as a Networked Childcare Practitioner. Since returning to the "adult" working arena, I have held various admin and managerial positions including training roles. As well as my family, my passions include sewing and I enjoy designing my own clothes and adapting commercial sewing patterns. I love arts and crafts and I am nutty about all things to do with ancient Egypt and ancient civilisations. In this fabulous, cosmopolitan city, I hope to pass on my passion as well as my skills to a new and upcoming generation of world citizens. After all, our children are our future.
Hi, this is Leila Hashemizadeh. I’m Iranian, was born in Dubai and speak three different languages: Farsi, English and Arabic. I have a masters degree from the Australian University of Wollongong, majoring in International Business. It’s an international world we’re living in, after all! I have two years of experience in the teaching field and am very excited to be working in TCG Jumeira as a teacher assistant in Pre-Nursery. My aim is to transfer my knowledge and experience to these young flowers, help them discover their talents and aptitudes and do everything I can to motivate them most effectively and efficiently. Each flower is unique and can add its own splash of character and colour to The Children’s Garden. Hobbies-wise, I’m a bit of a whizz at ping pong and at school I batted my way to various cups and medals. Let’s see what hobbies I can help encourage amongst the children in my care.
