Hello, I'm Louise! If you're wondering where you've seen me before, let me explain... As a founder member of TCG in the Green Community, I'm one of the original teachers who started way back in September 2005! Since then, I've been the English teacher in Nursery. This year brings a wonderful opportunity and a fresh challenge for me - change! - and I've made the move to share my experiences (as well as my ever so unique British sense of humour!) down at TCG Jumeira. I'm now working with the 3 year olds and coordinating the Nursery and Pre-Nursery Departments at this lovely new pre-school of ours. Early Years Education is so often undervalued and not given the significance it requires - this is the foundation for ALL future learning and if young children are encouraged to develop a sense of pride, independence and excitement when they're as young as 2 or 3 years old, then the furture will be much brighter for them...
Hello everybody, my name is Clare and I'm from England. I first came to Abu Dhabi to work in 1983 at the Corniche Hospital, where I stayed for six years before returning to the UK. However, the lure of the UAE plus the thought of some warmer weather was too strong, so I returned with my family in 1997. We have since lived in Sharjah, Muscat and Abu Dhabi, where I worked in nurseries with 3-4 yr olds. Prior to moving to Dubai in 2010, I worked at the British School in Abu Dhabi for five years in the Foundation Stage 1 Class and was able to attend various lectures and the most enjoyable was Learning and Developing Through Play, which I am looking forward to putting into practice at TCG Jumeira as TA in Marigold Yellow.

Hello everybody. My name is Diane and I come from Burundi. I graduated from the United States International University with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and spent two years at TCG Green Community before moving to TCG Jumeira for its opening year where I am the French teacher in Sky Blue Nursery Class. My psychology background really enhances my understanding of children and their individual talents while also helping me to encourage their early learning and to see school as a very enjoyable place full of fun experiences. I greatly value the importance of instilling a multi-lingual culture at this early age and stage of their development, and seeing children at TCG excel with these skills has been a wonderful experience for me.
Hi! My name is Dima. I'm an Australian who has lived in Dubai for the past 12 years with my husband and three children. During my time here, I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and I've enjoyed exploring all sorts of activities with them. While at the Creative Art Centre and JCPS/JC, I had a range of responsibilities for children from KG2 right up to Year 13, which included assisting in classrooms, working in the LS Department and helping the older children prepare for their French GCSEs, AS & A levels. The reward from a personal perspective in doing these activities is that I have first hand experience of the results based on the efforts put in from both myself and the students. This has been my biggest lesson; that the more effort I put in, the greater the awareness the student realises in their own ability... That's the greatest payback for me! My hobbies include travelling, reading, fashion, interior design and, of course, my family. I'm really excited to be part of the team at TCG Jumeira, helping Diane out as her TA in Sky Blue.
