First Day of Term

TCGJ staff are now back from their summer break and are busy organising their classrooms and planning lessons in preparation for another year packed with activities, discoveries and heaps of fun!  Our numbers have swelled significantly over the break and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you all on Monday 13 September, after Eid.

First Aid Course

As part of the TCG’s professional development, Nurse Elisabeth organised a First Aid course involving mainly emergencies and incident management for accidents involving children.  PRM International is the Dubai representative of the UK's famous St. John's Ambulance and their First Aid expert, Ms Heike came and taught us about CPR, binding wounds and applying different health and safety procedures to various emergency situations.  The course was held on Saturday 31 October for half a day.  We learned the theory and applied the practical procedures on each other and on dolls.  We hope there will not be any incidents where the procedures need to be applied, but if there is, we are all well prepared!
 

 

  

The Tales of Peter Rabbit in the theater!

Most of us have grown up enjoying the stories of Peter Rabbit. It could be a great experience seeing the famous Beatrix Potter books brought to life on stage.
