Hello! My name is Sybil Juzwiak, I grew up in Brazil and my family's history is rooted in Poland and Switzerland. Due to my multicultural background and my particular interest in different languages and cultures, I speak English, Portuguese, German, French, Spanish and have even started learning Russian. I have a Bachelor's Degree from a Swiss university and am currently studying for a Diploma in Children's Services from the Early Childhood Training and Research Centre (ECTARC) in Australia. I joined the TCG team at the beginning of 2009 and have worked at both the Jumeira and the Green Community branches, which has given me a rare opportunity to appreciate the TCG concept and watch how a very large number of talented teachers roll it out, in their different ways. I feel really lucky to have had this opportunity because I love making positive difference in children's lives! I've been in Dubai since 2007 and in my free time you'll find me doing sports, reading, at the beach or catching up with friends. Travelling and photography are two other important passions!
Hello! My name is Simona and I'm from Italy. I recently moved to Dubai with my husband. I have a Masters Degree in Biology and Ecology with a particular specialization in Animal Behaviour. My biggest passions are children and animals, and my studies allowed me to discover a fascinating world that I love: pet therapy, the therapy involving animals. I think that children and animals are the most innocent and pure creatures in the world and their interaction can be enormously beneficial. I'm very excited to begin this new experience at TCG Jumeira, working with Miss Sybil as her TA in Sapphires class. I have a great sense of creativity, I like painting, making paper and cardboard creations and creating clothes. I hope I will be able to transfer these skills to the children! My philosophy is to teach with fun as children at this age can learn a lot, but it's important to stimulate their desire to learn and at all costs to avoid boredom! During my spare time I like to practise a lot of sports, such as: volleyball, riding, tennis and martial arts of which I've been an instructor for children for many years.
