Specialist Teachers

Salam Aleikom!  My name is Dalia Gebaly.  I'm Egyptian and I speak Arabic, English, German and French.  I've been in the education field since 2003 and I hold the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers, issued by Cambridge University in the UK.  My objective is to make the process of Arabic learning joyful and enjoyable for children from different ages and nationalities.

I believe in the old Arabic quotation which states that "learning in early childhood is like carving letters on stones".

Hello, my name is Nadja Issa. I was born in Vienna, to an Austrian mother and an Egyptian father. I grew up in Germany and Egypt (Cairo). After leaving High School, I studied music and dance education in Stuttgart (Germany). Since 2000, I have been creating and developing my own shows for "Flight Acrobatics" and performing on walls of building! For further details, visit my website: www.nadjaissa.com.

Hello, my name is Nuket and I'm from Turkey. I graduated from Istanbul University as a Mathematician and I also have a teaching certificate from Marmara University in Istanbul. While still in Istanbul, I worked for 10 years as a maths teacher in high schools. Eight years ago I moved to Dubai, and I've been working at TCG since it opened in the Green Community. I am the TCG Maths Coordinator for both the Green Community and Jumeira. Working for TCG has given me the opportunity to teach younger children and this experience has meant that I am now writing a book about how to teach Maths to little ones in a fun way.

My name is Loma Mawassi. I am of Lebanese origin and I had been living in France before moving to Dubai in 2008. I have a Bachelor Degree in Music and Musicology from the University of Sorbonne in Paris and a Music Teacher Diploma. I speak Arabic, English and French. I have experience in both systems of music (Oriental and Occidental). In addition to singing and dancing I play Kanoun, a stringed instrument of music, piano and guitar. It is my first year at Children's Garden and I will be working on a child-centred curriculum by combining the best music learning methods in Orff, Kodaly and Suzuki.
