It's very important to me to find the right nursery for my child. I’m Montessori trained myself, so we do a lot of activities at home. There’s no sitting on the couch watching television in my house! So I visited many nurseries to find the right one for Tia. Then one day I passed by your school and what got my attention was the bilingual curriculum. So I had a look inside and was very impressed with the building and the garden. I liked the small numbers, the way the premises look, the teachers, the international combination you have – where every teacher is from a different place and the children are, too. I like that there’s no uniform so there’s the freedom of choice, the artwork – which shows you do things differently, you’re not traditional, you don’t believe in spoon feeding. I went to your website and when I saw the parents comments – that was the most important for me. Even before that, what I really liked was that it’s not the end result, but the process, that’s really important. So I knew it’s all about encouraging the individual. And your mantra: ‘childhood should be a journey not a race’. This is very important and so are things like the way TCG doesn’t encourage junk food or sweets. For my daughter’s birthday, the teachers asked me not to bring in a cake since they'll make one using art. Her classmates made her an imaginary cake using materials from the classroom such as crayons for the candles. The approach is the most important thing, I firmly believe that. |

And it’s not just me that loves TCG. It was also Tia's first reaction when we visited for the first time – she said, “Wow!” many times as we explored the place. Then when I started coming in regularly, I was even happier to find out more and more things that grabbed my attention. You really practice what you say. I’m so impressed with the approach, with the teachers – they’re very compassionate. My daughter doesn’t form bonds easily with people, but with Miss Hanan it was love at first sight!
I need the right place to see Tia progress. I found this place for a reason. I can see that.
