Elias Leine, Nursery Marigold Yellow Class 7am in the morning Elias is asking his mum at home: "Mummy do you think the teachers are awake that I can go to school now?"
Cameron Park, PreSchool 1 Arabian Tahr Class Children: "Why daddy has to work?" Miss Zuzana: "Daddy has to go to work to earn money, so mummy can buy different things, food and clothes..." Cameron: "No, my daddy does not go to work for money. For money (gesture of pointed finger) there is a machine called ATM. You are driving through, put the card inside, press the button and it gives you money. So... I don't really know why my daddy goes to work!"
Talal Baghdadi, Nursery Lavender Class Miss Zarni: "That's a really nice painting, Talal. You have a good imagination. Where does it come from?" Talal: "From my tummy!" (And that's a fact!)
Leyla Kiwan, Nursery Sky Blue Class While in English Class, some of the children are having a bit of difficulty sharing and Miss Clare says: "We need to share with our friends." Leyla responds with: "Yes because sharing is caring!"
Amin Beydoun, Nursery Lavender Class While playing with sea animal toys in our water trays... Miss Zarni: "I put a bit of salt in the water because that's the ocean where all these animals live. After a few minutes of quiet playing (and thinking)... Amin: "Miss Zarni, can I put some pepper in the water as well?" (Good idea!) |

Charlie Pilkington, Nursery Marigold Yellow Class Charlie had been talking constantly all day and poor Miss Louise's ears were beginning to ring, so she calmly asks Charlie, "Charlie, do you EVER stop talking?" to which Charlie replies, "Yes but only on Tuesdays!" What more can you say!
Charlie Pilkington, Pre-nursery Stars Class Charlie is very attached to her Baba (a green fleece blanket) and takes it everywhere! When we go outside to play many children ask us to push them on the swing but today, it was Baba's turn. Charlie put Baba on the small swing and made sure it would not fall. She commanded: "Hold on tight Baba!", "Ready... Steady... Go!" We think both Baba and Charlie had a great day! |

Sacha Clark, Nursery Sky Blue Class Sacha brought the class attendance book to the front desk this morning. Mrs. Yvonne, who is in charge of receiving these books from each class, was not at her seat when Sacha arrived. So she had to give the book to Mrs. Eva, who is Mrs. Yvonne's colleague at the front desk. On the way back to the classroom Sacha turned around and returned to the front desk. She reminded Mrs. Eva: "But don't forget this book is for Mrs. Yvonne!" Mrs. Eva answered: "Okay, I will put the book on her chair so she will see it when she comes back." Sacha agreed and said: "That is a good idea." and returned much more relaxed to her classroom! |
