Dubai Ladies Club Event
TCGJ helped Dubai Ladies Club host an event to celebrate motherhood. Our job was to provide a whole range of fun and age-appropriate activities that would keep all the children happy while the mothers enjoyed workshops on 'The Art of Living' and jewellery making. Have a look and see the sorts of things the children (and some mothers!) were able to enjoy thanks to the efforts of our fabulous staff - who gave up their Saturdays for the cause!

Market Day
Market Day on 25 March 2010 proved a roaring success and enabled the children to put into practice various maths concepts while having a huge amount of fun. Best of all was the pride they felt when the parents snapped up the super items they'd made to sell. After Spring Break, they'll vote democratically on how to spend their hard-earned profits!

Petting Zoo
The petting farm brought in by Posh Paws Kennels and Cattery on 25 March 2010 was an absolute hit, as much with our parents as with our children. They brought in a wonderful array of animals - see if you can work out what they all are...!

Family Fun at the Beach
Our Family Fun Day proved to be the most fabulous morning. Teachers, parents, grandparents and guardians all rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into the whole bucket and spade mentality. Just look at all these happy, happy faces!

The Hungry Crocodile Puppet Show
TCGJ was alive today with children, parents and visitors ready to watch our first ever Puppet Show - "The Very Hungry Crocodile". 3 performances were jam packed with excited, happy faces ready to enjoy the story of Princess Sunshine and her ever so yummy chocolate cake!! A huge thanks to the staff team from TCG Green Com, who have now shown us their hidden skills and talents. We are most definitely looking forward to the next Puppet Show!

Family Fun Day 1
We celebrated the end of our 'Healthy Mind, Body and Soul' topic with an activity morning in Jumeira Beach Park on 11 Feb 2010. Parents, guardians and nannies streamed in, setting up picnic rugs, sun shades (and sun lotion stations!) all around the play areas. The children had bags of fun testing all the play equipment, loving the fact that their parents were with them, sometimes even training them in playground 'best practice'!

Learning Via Patterns
The children have been hard at work in their maths lessons, investigating the many ways in which we see patterns in everyday life. In doing so, they've created some really fantastic artworks we're all very proud of.

The TCG Assault Course
This fabulous weather we're having means we've got so many opportunities to develop our motor skills outside - while having a whole heap of fun! The TCG Assault Course was inaugurated on 27 January, and already looks set to become a hot favourite with the children...

Healthy Teeth!
Drs. Hadi & Hofmann, an established dental clinic in Jumeira, came and presented their school programme to our children.
The dentist played a short video, 'Barney going to the dentist,' demonstrated how to brush teeth with a fabulously huge toothbrush and gave each child a goodie bag afterwards!

Bake Sale
The first Bake Sale in TCG Jumeira took place on the 10th of December 2009. Thanks to the parent's great support we managed to raise AED360 which will be spent in the school environment for the advantage of everyone. The experience was enjoyed by everyone, learning how to count, how to pay and enjoy a tasty piece of cake!

Making Maths Fun!
Miss Nuket, our very own Maths Coordinator, has devised a tailor-made maths curriculum. Bursting with fun and packed with exciting activities and experiences, have a look at the sorts of things the children get up to. And with our famous Maths Octopus helping them learn, no wonder everybody loves maths at TCG!

Classroom Antics
Our programme is all about engaging the emotions of each child, because if children can develop an emotional connection with what they are learning or with the person teaching it, this is how they learn best.

Professional Development Day
Together with the TCG Green Community team we all had a very interesting development day. The morning started with a motivating workshop on Communication, Positive Thinking and changes in life. After a group lunch some of us went to Jam Jar for a creative session for many ideas! It was a great team building experience and our creative minds were working hard! Climbing Frame Fanatics
Our climbing frame, with its battery of different swings, slopes and ropes, is proving itself to be a place where children can both hone their individual climbing skills and play collaboratively with their friends.
